South African Youth as stakeholders in the Civil Society Movement

Members of Global Youth Action Network,African Regional Office( Pierre Andipatin- African Regional Coordinator, Bridget Majola-Integration of Partnerships Director and Karlen Padayachee-International Communications Director)were part a the youth delegation invited to the Civicus World Assebmly earlier this year ( March 21-25) in Botswana. The youth were identified as meaningful stakeholders in social transformation and civic mobilization. The dream that this team had for the youth of the world but especially for South Africa was to fight apathy and ensure that all youth are socially included and therefore identified and important role-plyers in decision-making and policy-formulation.
